The Senior Safe Home Program is designed to help Camden County Senior homeowners with home repairs that help prevent removal from their home and institutionalization because of a disability or disabling condition. Services are provided based on income eligibility and municipality in which the homeowner lives.

An application for service is taken over the phone. To apply contact the Senior Safe Home Program at (856) 663-2255. Eligibility is based on the following criteria:

• The Senior in need MUST be the homeowner.
• The entire household income must meet the income eligibility requirements. Federal, State, and County income requirements require us to include income from all members living in the household.
• There must be a documented disability. Disability is defined as a documented medical condition substantiated by primary physician, Veterans Administration, or, Social Security Administration.

Because funding for the program has restrictions, some services may not be available in all parts of the county. Contact the program for more information. Due to funding restrictions services can only be offered once a year to eligible consumers and limited to first come first serve.
